Lily AI, the customer intent platform built to power the present and future of e-commerce, today announced that it has been named to Comparably’s 2022 Best Workplaces in the Bay Area list. The annual award is based on employee feedback on categories such as: Work-Life Balance, Professional Development, Leadership, Compensation, and Perks & Benefits.
Lily AI also won Comparably’s 2022 Best Company Outlook award. Rankings were derived from sentiment ratings provided by current employees about the company’s outlook (how confident they feel about the future success of their company) and the Employee Net Promoter Score.
Purva Gupta, CEO of Lily AI, shares, “We continually strive to build employee happiness, and we work tirelessly to maintain a vibrant and dynamic culture. Empathy and diversity are our guiding principles in all we do, from building products to hiring and retaining talent.”
“Based on the company’s top ratings across multiple culture dimensions, Lily AI employees clearly see the company as a great workplace in the Bay Area and are excited about its future,” said Comparably CEO Jason Nazar.
Lily AI was founded in 2015 to build a shopping experience that would be able to understand the emotional context of the shopper in a way that had never happened in online commerce or in retail before. Co-founders Purva Gupta and Sowmiya Narayanan have built one of Silicon Valley’s fastest-growing and most innovative retail technology companies by driving a thriving, female-led organization focused on empathy for employees, brands and their consumers. Lily AI achieved a 350% 2021 growth rate; added multiple marquee customers such as The Gap, J. Crew, VF Corporation and Backcountry, and scaled a company that has over 50% women across the organization in every key functional department.
